چکیده

The rapid development of connected devices and wireless communication has enabled several researchers to study sensor networks propose methods algorithms improve their performance. Wireless (WSN) are composed nodes deployed collect transfer data base station (BS). Sensor node is considered as the main element in this field, characterized by minimal capacities storage, energy, computing. In consequence important impact energy on network lifetime, researches interested different mechanisms minimize consumption. work, we a new enhancement low-energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) protocol, named location-based LEACH (CLOC-LEACH), which represents continuity our previous published work (LOC-LEACH). proposed protocol organizes into four regions, using mechanism. addition, an efficient concept adopted choose cluster head. CLOC-LEACH considers principal metric heads uses gateway ensure inter-cluster communication. simulation with MATLAB shows that contribution offers better performance than LOC-LEACH, terms stability, consumption lifetime.

An Adaptive LEACH-based Clustering Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks

LEACH is the most popular clastering algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). However, it has two main drawbacks, including random selection of cluster heads, and direct communication of cluster heads with the sink. This paper aims to introduce a new centralized cluster-based routing protocol named LEACH-AEC (LEACH with Adaptive Energy Consumption), which guarantees to generate balanced cl...

Fuzzy Clustering Based Routing in Wireless Body Area Networks to Increase the Life of Sensor Nodes

Body area networks is one of the types of wireless area networks which has been created to optimize utilizing hospital resources and for earlier diagnosis of medical symptoms, and ultimately to reduce the cost of medical care. This network like most of the wireless networks is without infrastructure and the embedded sensor nodes in the body have limited energy. Hence, the early power completion...

An Energy Efficient Clustering Method using Bat Algorithm and Mobile Sink in Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of sensor nodes with limited energy. Energy efficiency is an important issue in WSNs as the sensor nodes are deployed in rugged and non-care areas and consume a lot of energy to send data to the central station or sink if they want to communicate directly with the sink. Recently, the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol is employed as a low-power, low-cost, and low rat...
